The speakers said this at a roundtable titled 'National Budget 2018-19', organized jointly by ICAB-First Light. The roundtable was held at the ICAB office in Karwan Bazar on Monday.
M Shamsul Alam, member of the General Economics Division of the planning commission, chief guest of the ceremony said that discrimination is increasing. Increasingly, it will be a terrible message. But the inflation in the next budget is 5.6 percent. The government will try to protect it.

Faruk Ahmed Siddiqui, advised to take steps to prevent discrimination, said that for 50 years it has been said that income tax law will be made easier. But in reality it has become more complicated.

Call to stop environmental pollution
Syeda Rezwana Hasan, chief executive of Bangladesh Environmental Lawyers Association (BELA), said, "Bangladesh has 178th place among 179 countries in environmental pollution. If we know what is in the air of Dhaka, we will give up breathing. If we know what we are eating then we will also quit eating food. Our policy has been that one group is being polluted and the taxpayers' money is being spent for it.
Belar Chief Executive, with the suggestion to stop environmental pollution, said that allocation of 600 crores for the digging of five canals was heard. To save the way the rivers and canals have been destroyed in the country, the entire budget will have the meaning.
Referring to the traffic congestion in the city, and not due to lack of good governance, Syeda Rezwana said, "One day, if one joins a meeting in Gulshan, Dhaka can not be added to another meeting in Dhanmondi.
Infrastructure development will be focused

The demand for reducing corruption
Rasheda K. Chowdhury, executive director of the massacre campaign said that no goal will be achieved if human development does not happen.
