Today we will look at the latest CPI and RPI data published by the UK government. These statistics measure the rise in the cost of living and prices and are a reflection of the inflation created by the government and the Bank of England.

Our conclusion is that the Bank of England is way behind the curve in terms of reigning in monetary accommodation and that the only certainty is that the currency will continue to melt away.
