Despite his dissenting views on on a number of issues - like inflation and wokism - in this interesting wide ranging interview Larry Summers reveals himself to be an unrepentant demand-side, big-government planner Keynesian (in case anyone had any doubts).

His analysis of inflation is in terms of aggregate demand arithmetic. Not once does he mention the money supply. His solutions for social problems reflect an abiding faith in the ability and willingness of government to achieve difficult and noble aims.
