The Norwegian prime minister is warning about hard times ahead

After twenty years with an unusual growth in living standards the Norwegian people must await at least ten years of restructuring and leaner times.

Thursday the state budget for 2017 is released to the public, and she is now warning that there is an end to pouring out money.

• For many individuals it means replacing high income jobs with other jobs that do not have the same income, says Solberg.

She says it will also be placed on welfare technology where it should be fewer staff per patient. Knowledge and education will also be key, even more refugees in the country where there are also several poor children who have to be helped up, the Prime Minister said.

• Knowledge will decide whether Norway will succeed in restructuring. We can never be the cheapest, but we can be the smartest.

There have been some leaks so far regarding the budget, most of it points toward less taxes for the rich and more taxation for the lower/middle class.
The Finance Ministry forecasts "broader discussion" of the housing market in the budget...whatever that means. We as many other countries have seen housing prices soar and in few years houses have tripled and quadrupled in value.

Having money in the bank no longer gives you any returns as the interest is non existent and with the "saving structure" we currently have no young, working adults that can afford a house without rich parents or other wealthy relatives.
With the prices on the renting market all our potentially savings goes out in rent, it's an infinite loop.

Those able to get a mortgage already owns a house or two and buys even more property to rent out to those without a home of their own.
