Another fascinating discussion. I view mega stores and mega corporations as a form of power centralisation. People who may at one stage have had a small business of their own now become the guy helping you out in the lawnmower section of a DIY mega store for instance. Economies of scale are a small win for your pocket but a massive loss for the community. The effect on community psyche is also devastating as self determination evaporates and we all grow up training to work for somebody. Additionally the scaling up of efficiency grows the welfare state as more people exit the work force. What can me done to stop this, not sure it's possible. I think even though some of the big $ that has entered the cryptosphere in the past 3 months is more than likely going to further manipulate the market both up and down.. i also believe we're about to see an absolute flood of investment into the space to the tune of 2-300 billion$ both from wallstreet, and small sub $2500 investment from every day people that have never invested in anything before.

Hadn't seen anything on Steemit about gold; so I looked at the key words, clicked on gold and was excited to see someone referencing McAlvany. I knew Dave's mom and dad, Molly and Don, in the early 70s. Don was one of my (adult) Sunday school teachers. Great teacher for a new Christian! They started their gold business in the early 70s and now David runs it. Don and Molly work in orphanages in the Philippines and India. So, great people at McAlvany. They have a good web site, have excellent gold brokerage and wealth management operations. Highly recommended! I upvoted and will follow you.
