272k jobs added in May. Higher than expected. We've averaged 249k jobs added over the last three months.

The unemployment rate went up 0.1 points to 4%. We've now been at or below 4% unemployment for 30 months. Longest stretch in over 50 years.

Labor force participation fell 0.2 points. Mostly concentrated among teens and college aged workers. For prime age workers, labor force participation actually went up 0.2%. For prime age women, labor force participation is at a record high.

Large divergence still between the payroll and household surveys. But reminder the payroll survey is a significantly more accurate and robust measure of employment.
