Fruit trees can not only be planted in open areas but it can also be planted in pots. And here is how to grow the fruit in pots:

Prepare a pot with a diameter of 50cm and a height of about 60cm. Keep the pot that will be used is a pot made of clay because it can keep the soil moisture with better than plastic pots. The selected pot should have a hollow base which is useful as a way for water to keep it from pooling in a pot, Insert tile fragments or potted stones prior to incorporation of planting medium.

Commonly used planting medium usually consists of soil, husk, and coconut husk with a ratio of 1: 1: 1. Just like planting in an open area, the seedlings that can be removed from the seed medium into the pot is a seed that is as high as 60cm, perfectly leafy, and trunked upright with a diameter of 1 cm.

After planting media filled half-height pots, enter the seeds of the tree right in the middle of the pot before being backfilled by planting media to touch the lips of the pot.

Maintenance
In order to grow and bear maximum fruit, the tin tree you land should be treated as the treatment it obtains in their place of origin in the Arab country. And some of these treatments are:

a. Sunlight

Fruit trees are trees that come from hot, barren areas and get maximum sunlight. For that, if you want to get good quality tin, make sure your fruit trees get sunlight

b. sprinkling

Watering is another important thing to watch out for if your tin fruit grows to its full potential. The reason, the fruit tree tin including trees that do not need too often watered. There is even a time when this fruit tree does not need watering at all. As for example when the rainy season arrives.

If you have entered the dry season, fruit trees need only watered every 4 days. Despite this, tin trees grown in the dry season have a much higher chance of harvesting when compared to tin trees planted during the rainy season.

c. Fertilization

At the beginning of planting, the tin tree requires only basic fertilizer and also leaves fertilizer with a dose adjusted for the size of the tree. The use of this leaf fertilizer is to stimulate the growth of the tin tree. If you have entered the age of 2 years or more, the fruit tree can be given manure that will accelerate the fertilization of the fruits.

d. Handling of diseases and pests

One of the fruits tree disease can be seen from the leaves. Trees affected by the disease are usually leafy yellow, dry, and falling. All you can do if your fruit tree is experiencing the same thing is by pruning the affected leaves. Because if left unchecked, the disease is feared to spread because it includes a contagious disease that eventually all the leaves on the tree will die and fall.

In addition to leaf diseases, there are also pests that usually attack on the trunk of the tin fruit tree. This pest is usually known by the name of pest borer that always makes the tree trunks become porous then easily broken. One way to overcome it is by injecting plant medicine on the trunk of a tin fruit tree.
