The first time I held you in my arms
I am over filled with joy
You were so tiny and fragile, yet so lovely
I always get worried about you
I would like to give you everything I have
I love you so dearly my child
There are only two wishes that I would like to have
One is..... I want you to know God. Accept and love him as your saviour.
Secondly..... I would love to see all your dreams come true, Then i will be the Happiest Mother in this planet.
There will come a time you will be a Father to your children. I fervently hope and pray that you will mold their young minds with Love, patience, respect and understanding.
All the best things in the world that can not be seen by the mere eyes and can not be ever be monetized.
When I get old, I hope that you will visit me often with your wife and my Grandchildren.
I hope you will hold my hand and hugged me, It refreshes my mind when i held you as a baby.
When I can not remember things or can not hear you enough due to old age, I hope that you do not shout at me. I hope you to please still nourish me with your love even when my hair turns grey.
I Love you with all my heart and with all of me, You complete me as a Being.
I will always remember for as long as I live, that I held a tiny little hands in my arms.
Kiss the Boo boo in the knees whenever it fell down.
Packing endless snacks and picking toys everywhere in the house.
I will always hold in my heart those tiny sweet hugs and those very wet kisses in my face.
I love you forever and for the rest of my days.
Your the most Beautiful thing happen to me
If one day, you will get to read this, I would like you to know that YOU are our EVERYTHING.

I don't have a baby but after reading your writing I am feeling that being a mom , you must be feeling so proud, It's a magical feeling which only a mom can understand. I remember my mom's all love dreams were all about me , I was her everything... Thanks for sharing your wonderful thoughts with us....

I never likes to read poetry, and as a matter of fact and on a positive note, steemit and especially this man @eco-alex and his blog forced me to attempt for scribble something like what people calls poem ...
and may be first time I spend some time to read a poem written above. People used to say life can be expressed more through poem that a writing a lengthy story and that what I felt after reading this.
Congratulations for penning down such beautiful lines that I experienced all the emotions of family may the way which my father had gone through or several other relatives. Thumbs up..

Our hopes for our children reveal the most about US. They are a part of us, and yet they never can be... and the best part is they will find their own way regardless of what we hope or wish.
