How Do You Wish To Live?

It is easy to get swept up in all the doom and gloom reports that are flooding the media at the moment, listening to everyone going on about climate change and how the earth is in a dire state and is just getting worst. And on top of all of that, we then have those who think , well is any of it worth it?

Is it worth the the time and effort that some want to put in to try and change things, I mean what if we are too late, why even bother. Lets face it we are parasites on this planet.

Where exactly do we go from there?

Well it starts with asking yourself some questions Because no matter how we look at things, we can never know what the future holds, we only know what is happening right now.

And right now, I would like you to think about, how exactly you wish to live your life?

What are the most important things for you right now, what things if any, would you like to change. And how are you going to achieve them. Does any of those changes affect your natural environment and if so, how?

Change is good, it is a natural part of life. We are evolving and changing all the time, just like the earth. We all go through cycles, we all need to take things on in order to learn from them, in order to grow. But we also need to complete the cycle by letting go of those things that no longer serve us. Everything that comes into our lives, comes for a purpose, whether it is good or bad. It is what we take from it that is important. It is who we are after we have embraced it, worked through it and then released it, that is what is important this cycle. This natural cycle that is repeated throughout nature.

Nature takes care of itself, because it follows those cycles. Everything that it need,s comes from the life that it provides, the life that it sustains. Everything works together, the bees pollinating, the fungi communicating, the soil nurturing. They all exist and thrive because of each other.

Yet if we look at land that has been used in monoculture farming, that land needs external resources in order to survive, in order for life to grow. The soil is eroded, it is unable to sustain life, there is no fungi present and any bees that are present will more than likely end up dead too, because of the chemicals being used to ensure the crops survive. Food being growth in unnatural environments.

People living in unnatural ways.

Using external resources in order to live happy lives. Eating food that is laced with chemicals, taking medication that harms our bodies. Listening to others instead of listening to ourselves. Looking to others to make us happy. We have all that we need in our natural environment. Yet we have become so disconnected, so disillusioned when it comes to how we should be living our lives. We are a part of the earth, the earth's cycles are our cycles.

We have this amazing opportunity to now look to nature to show us the way, a way where nothing is wasted, where everything is nurtured and sustained. A way that brings us closer together.

When we live in harmony with nature, we live in harmony with ourselves, in harmony with one another.

Great post @trucklife-family. I particularly like your part on listening to others for answers rather than looking within ourselves. Perspectives are certainly fine but we should absolutely never seek all our answers externally from others.

In today’s modern world it seems like everyone has an opinion and wants their voice heard. We are well to do and wise to seek out our on answers and validate for ourselves.

I wish more people could behave in balance like the rest of nature does - perhaps one day ;-)

thanks @steelborne, yes I wish that also x

When we create the vibration of harmony through our way of relating and co-existing with Mother Earth, it ripples out... and we create more harmony and creativity and joy. Lovely thoughts @trucklife-family. Hugs this Monday morning. x

@ecoTrain

thanks so much @artemislives hugs to you too xx

Frankly, we are the one playing with nature and slowly we are paying the price by depending on external resources....nature created us and help us to survive but we missed to understand our own eco system....

yes we are @steemflow, and we are a part of nature, it is all about finding that harmony again x

Nice post @trucklife-family. Life is full of changes. I liked what you said: ¨letting go of those things that no longer serve us¨, which most of the time is difficult to achieve. but with a conscious mind one can do it.

thank you @byronmushrooms x

I feel MORE able to be at peace with the world and with others if I am in nature, or have dippped myself in nature. Lovely thoughts xxx

thank you lovely xx

Very true, we have completely disconnected ourselves from mother earth and nature by getting so many external resources in our lives. Lifestyles have drastically changed and so have tbe health conditions. It is always on us how we want our lives to shape up and act accordingly. Beautiful write-up
