Let's Learn Sign Language [part 1]

Being a teacher who teaches the disability pupils especially those who having hearing problems, sign language is the way of communication amongst them.

Other than written material of way in communication that available nowaday, sign language remain crucial for them for their daily routine to engage others.

Through my observations, the sign language community in the world especially my own hometown are relatively very small in numbers. Immediately, these people are being the minorities.

Often enough, we neglect their existence and most of the time it causes them their daily life routine to be very difficult. As a teacher, I think it is important for all of us to make ourselves to be aware about these community.

Hence, I think in this steem platform, I would like to invite all of you to learn some basic sign language. Especially for @teammalaysia lets us initiate ourselves to learn new thing and at the same time we help growing our sign language community.

So, lets get started. Before that,lets learn the basic sign first.

This is called fingerspelling. Fingerspelling mean the process of spelling out words by using signs that correspond to the letters of the word.
