Is it just 'ME', or has anyone else been having a wee bit of a problem understanding half of these people who have been posting on steemit???
Now, I'm not referring to those posts by seemingly non-native English speakers...I'm talking about the Brits, Canadians, Aussie's, Americans and all the rest of you misfits smoking some bad weed or something?
I can understand why those young folks babble a lot, having been victims of the 'Common Core' curriculum imposed upon them through Public Education, and the meat-heads in government who came up with the idea. The poor young ones today struggle to form proper sentence structure, formulate ideas, spel coreckly and generally show cognitive function akin to that of a professional boxer, who was hit in the head too many times.
Maybe I'm missing something...??? Is it that 'abstract' verbal communication is in vogue at the moment??? Is it considered 'hip'; the 'in' thing...??? After all, I'm 'old' and take a lot of naps, so it is quite possible I've been missing out on new trends...I'm also generally antisocial, so I don't go out and mix with many people...So, I might very well be dumb to the dumbing down craze, that I am actually supposed to be proud of participating in???
Hell...I don't know...Maybe it's just 'me'...I'm the dumb one? I've grown eccentric; and sank further into the depths of senility?
Maybe 'all' of the above holds true? We're 'ALL' nuts...

Among dutch teeners old 80/90 dutch (to me terrible) folk music is the thing . Only cause it's the only language they understand or can relate to . A little boy singing in old dutch amsterdam like accent that he has no one to love . I truly think education has failed yes ;-)

Taking it true google translate choked me a bit .... i had no intention to expose a hidden message , well lets say i am nuts , for common sense , but nuts always finds a viewpoint where no one dares to look . You left an 's' out on the end of the word.
You forgot to separate 'out' and 'unless', and misspelled 'purpose'
Perhaps 'these' were not errors either, but done on purpose like I did with "spel coreckly" making you as much a genius as 'I' :>)
Note: I am aware from your mentioning that you are 'not' a native English speaking person, so I'm inclined to grant you some consideration for your multiple errors made in your comment. I commend you actually for doing so well (unless you used Google Translate)
Also, as you might have 'understood' my criticism was geared more towards the people posting on steemit, who 'are' from native English speaking backgrounds. Not so much for their spelling errors (which might be typos) either, but for the 'structure' of their posts.

I have to admit i use a grammar correction tool on some single words even when i write in dutch , i am not a genius . To me people that put you down on your spelling did not understand your message or are just trolling so they can comment without giving there opinion on the subject . So it's mostly the grammar-police that misses the bout ;-)

I can understand angrymans point of view ,where he as a experienced writer is reading a lot of one liner chatter on here it is the same as the sound from a off tune instrument to a musician . He really has no problem with bad spelling or grammar if the story has some depth or value . It's the posting only to post what's the rant is about . Half of steemit is empty space to him as it is to me .

I know there is not much dept in most post here, but I have talked about this before on steemit when the whole "quality content" started to become a talking point here. My view is: if we dont allow people to use like they would Facebook/reddit we wil never go mainstream. 99% of the people have shit post's aka Facebook Status update. But its a formula thats seems to work very good. And since Steem is already difficult enough, I think we should take all the activity we can get on this platform.
Even the creator Ned Scott commented on that post I talked about it, that was so awsome to see him comment under a post mine!!

I know it can't be stopped , i would like to see some balance . It becomes harder to find people like angryman who write good story's for fun and to make one think ,..hard, sometimes .
