WHAT WAS MORE THAN THOUGHT WAS COMPARED TO WHAT WAS MADE

I once read a story about a monk, we know that a monk cannot touch a woman. At one point there was a monk on a trip with his two students and then at the end of the road he had to cross the river deep enough, coincidentally at the end of the road there was also a beautiful woman who was confused about to cross. Without thinking, the monk offered to help women cross the river by holding the woman. Then one of his students began to grumble to himself why a teacher had given a bad example.

After finishing crossing, the monk lowered the beautiful woman and acted as if nothing had happened. The student was even more upset because he felt that his teacher had made a mistake and gave a bad example to his students. But the Monk seemed to have done nothing wrong. Because his frustration was unbearable, the Disciple rebuked the Monk and asked why he wanted to hold a woman. Even though this act was forbidden, then the monk lightly said, "I have no longer thought that I was carrying a woman and when I carried it I thought it was like carrying a bag of rice. I don't think anything but why are you still thinking about this woman? "

After getting an answer from the monk, the student was very embarrassed and understood what really happened. The monk has a good heart to help women and without thinking about what rewards will be obtained because they sincerely help. So during the journey to cross the woman, the monk did not think or feel how good it was to carry a woman. This was said by the monk, that when carrying the woman he only felt like carrying a sack of rice.

It seems like the obscene-minded person is the Disciple because in his mind he must be thinking various things about the pleasure of carrying a woman. What is felt by holding a beautiful woman because the student thinks like that. So when he saw the Teacher carrying a woman there might actually be jealousy inside him, why wasn't the student carrying him. That's why the Disciple was angry in his heart towards his teacher. Great anger in your heart will certainly drain your energy and also tangle your mind. Surely the student will feel his energy is widely used for things that are very unproductive.

The lesson I got
The mind is the source of happiness and sadness, hatred and love. Mother Teresa wanted to sacrifice her time to care for displaced people even now there is a community that helps displaced people even though Mother Teresa is gone but her work continues. The mind also makes the burden of life feel heavy. Like the disciple of the Monk, the burden on him to think will be very heavy during the trip. If he had not thought about what the Monk was doing, surely the Disciple's mind was not filled with things of hatred and anger.

How can we educate our children, co-workers so they can think positively when they grow up later. I am sure that positive thinking will produce extraordinary results. Findings can be done by positive thinking. I imagine if in Indonesia, with a population of 250 million people could think positively half of it. Then there will be many discoveries that can bring our country forward.
