Passing out parade has come and gone, i will be definitely miss my friends, my PPA, my environment in mampongteng , a lot of thought were running through my mind as i was packing and arranging my loads. I begin to ask myself, after my national service year then what next?" I had tried to apply for jobs during my service year but i couldn't get a be fit job. My friends that were born with silver spoon had jobs waiting for them at home. Which kind of wahala bi this? I picked my bag, board a bus to Kumasi. On getting home, my family and neighbours welcomed me, it was as if a white man has come to visit them. People were asking me questions, some were greeting me, some were asking for what i bought. As days rolled by, i begin to search for what to do, i moved round the town to see if i could get a job somewhere. One day whiles i was passing by on the 3rd street, i saw a woman coming out of a might duplex , the house was painted white. She was pasting a notice on her gate, as i saw passing by. I moved closer to see what she was pasting and on it i saw, " A home lesson teacher wanted URGENTLY!!!. Chaiiiii, i ignored at first and moved on . After about 8 walking steps, i stopped and think , why should i refuse this opportunity . i think i fit the job!!!!!!! I went to the back of the gate and knocked in no time the gateman came out and ushered me in!!!, she went and called the woman out that she's having a stranger , when the woman came out the gateman went back to his post.
I : ---- Good afternoon madam
WOMAN....... Good afternoon young man!!! How may i help you?
I:--- i saw you pasting a notice the other time and i decided to apply.
WOMAN...... You mean the home tutor job?
I :--- yes please
WOMAN....... I hope you passed you second cycle school exams ?
