The investors in the platform ( whales) have a huge power. When they like your post or your reply, you earn Steem, a cryptocurrency.

Launch one year ago only, Steemit has a market capitalisation of $ 635 million dollars today.

As the code of the platform is open source, many coders have improved the platform with numerous mobile app :

• Esteem is an App which make Steemit accessible from any Android device, phone or tablet.
• ChainBB is a forum linked with Steemit with an education category including math, physic, biology and philosophy.
  You can ask any question and get paid to ask question or providing answers.
