Hi steemit and steemian..

Continued my post on General Knowledge,
Today I will share an Article about the Scientists and Inventors who are Meritorious in this World.

Very few of us know, and appreciate these very Meritorious People or Inventors, unknowingly by us, their findings have been used by mankind to this day.

Did you know that the foundation of any discovery until now it has a purpose to facilitate humans in doing every job. Even the inventions that have been advanced from the past centuries have become one of the technological innovations that have existed at this time.

Here I am going to reopen our memories of who they are!
Hopefully useful for those who read this.

The 10 Greatest Inventors in the World

10.Tim Berners-Lee

An inventor of the World Wide Web (WWW), which is currently used by billions of websites around the world. He is also a director of the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) which aims to oversee the full range of website developments. From the findings of WWW he won various awards one of which is "The Man Who Changed the World", at the event Mikhail Gorbachev, 2011 in london.
The shocking fact was that WWW was not commercialized at all. Tim Berners did not take any of his creations, even he gave the world wide web without patents or royalties. Berners even said that if he did not create the WWW then other people might come up with the idea freely later.

9.Galileo Galilei

Is a distinguished astronomer, physicist, mathematician and engineer with his invention in the form of telescopes, thermometers and compasses. Until the end of his life he became a house prisoner because it is against the Catholic church.

Galileo also perfected telescopes from a simple telescope made by the Netherlands, with visibility up to 3x, but later the telescope was refined to reach 30x, this telescope was then used to see the sky. Galileo Galilei's life was imprisoned because of his opinion that the sun is the center of the universe, and the earth revolves. His opinion is contradictory about what is mentioned by the gospels so that at the end of his jail period which was later changed into house arrest. Even Galileo is forbidden to publish his work including with anything he will write.

8.Archimedes

Is a mathematician, engineer, inventor and astronomer.
Archimedes proposes mechanical and hydrostatic sciences, aiming at the innovation of a lever or lever that can be used to move heavy objects with little force.
It can be argued that the most astonishing mathematical discovery of Archimedes is pi which has so far been used in mathematical calculations of circular calculations, pi finding is based on calculus calculations created by Archimedes. In fact, he also found one of the laws of physics, the center of gravity.

7.Benjamin Franklin

Benjamin Franklin is known as one of the founding fathers of the United States, and is the person who contributed in the making of the Declaration of Independence.

His most famous discovery to date is the lightning rod, where he hypothesizes that lightning is an electric current. In conducting his hypothetical test he used a kite during a rainstorm. From the results of his experiments can be concluded that the object with a sharp tip can release electricity. Therefore, until now the buildings with high levels have a rod-shaped lightning rod attached to the highest part of the building as a lightning rod.

6.The Wright Brothers

It is the inventor of the aircraft mechanism.

5.James Watt

James Watt is the inventor of the steam engine. It can be said that the increase of CO2 gas in the air from industrial products comes from the beginning of the invention of the steam engine. Yet his inventions have transformed the world industry and made him the father of the industrial revolution.

4.Alexander Graham Bell

Most of his research aims to create a hearing machine until it finally creates a phone.
In the making of the telephone machine Bell is assisted by his assistant named Thomas Watson. Thomas Watson was an electrician and was the person who supported Bell's idea of making a telephone machine.

3.Thomas Edison

The heyday of Thomas Edison begins with the invention of the bulb lamp, where it wants to compete with traditional lighting using oil and gas. The first lamp bulb found to survive for 1000 hours, which he then perfected so it can be used in homes, roads and other public places.

2.Nikola Tesla

It can be said that Nikola Tesla was the most brilliant inventor of his time and philanthropist, where most of his designs and inventions were patented by other inventors such as dynamo, x-ray and radar.
Nikola Tesla then developed another electric current that is Alternating Current (AC), Thomas edison consider it as a rival because at that time Thomas Edison was trying to sell DC power system.

Hello @kardevis
I see your post is very good to improve the quality of education, because I must admit, many of us never want to read, and do not know people who are meritorious in terms of discovery.
With this post you, I hope everyone can add insight.
thank you.

Hi @kardevis, I'm promoting this idea of creating a /s/History Substeeemit. So that original content like this becomes more findable.

It's a collection of well-produced content on history that I personally curate (yes a human, no bots or algorithms or stuff like that.)

I've added this post to the curation list. Next time you write about history make sure you promote that on the comment section on the most recent /s/History substeemit so I can see it.

Hopefully that way people will look up "/s/History" and find quality articles on history like this one.

Thanks for playing the quality game.
@achraf7b (if interested, I talk about the whole idea here in details)
