It also should be noted that many others think they can just step in and be a teacher as a second career or second degree choice. Not realizing that there is a lot of extra hours and tasks that go in to being a teacher. Particularly in today's society. Teaching is now a very complex and dynamic profession, but is still looked down upon- even by parents who many times think they know better.

Yes it's true. I think the teaching degree itself is so wide, that anyone that didn't do it themselves will never understand what it is made of. As a second career, thinking that it can be easy, I want to see them do it. Haha
