Talking lights it seems no one is not familiar with the incandescent lights, of course we also know the name Thomas Alfa Edison who was born on February 11, 1847 in Milan, ohio. United States, but in 1839 his family lived in Canada. But in 1839 they moved and settled in Milan.
When 7 years old his family moved again to Port Huron. Michigan. And a year later he attended elementary school there, but Edison was not a smart kid, other than sluggish in his thinking in every lesson, so his mother was disappointed and decided that Edison should not go back to school.
Ever since Edison was out of school again his mother took over the job of his teacher, he educated and guided Edison in only a few years his son was able to read books for adults. And the penchant for reading was finally embedded in Edison. The books he read are always of the sciences of some of the foremost scientists, ever since the attention to science has begun to appear.
In 1863 Edison got a chance to become a telegrapher, because at that time telegraph experts were needed and he got a place as an operator. A few years later he traveled around the city, such as Canada, St. Louis, Boston, and other cities so he was known as a prominent operator.
In 1970 Edison received considerable money in return for his invention, and at the same time made him famous. So one day he thought he wanted to replace the role of a gas lamp into an electric light. Because he thinks gas is no longer compatible with life at that time.
From various trials in doing, he was finally able to create electric lights better known as incandescent lamps. On October 21, 1879 demonstrated its findings to the general public, a lamp that could burn for more than 40 hours continuously. Although previously there were those who found electric lights but not as well as edison found. And edison also creates a clasped fittings, skets and wires that make him famous.
Then on Date, October 18, 1931 edison died, before he has collected more than 3000 patents, hinga currently no one is able to pass the achievement. And get a special tribute from congresses and hundreds of awards from various nations in the world.and his Home and Laboratory in West Orange New Jersey, as the "Edison National Historic Site" building.
