English Education Study Program

The English Education Study Program (PSP) educates prospective Graduate of English Education which is professional, moral and superior English learning by utilizing Information and Communication Technology (ICT).

WHAT'S LEARNED IN ENGLISH PSP ?!

Subjects in the English language PSP include :

*Matriculation: Intensive Course
English language skills: Listening, Speaking, Reading, Writing, and Grammar
Teachers English to Young Learners, Curriculum and Material Development, Micro Teaching, and Field Experience Practice.

Linguistics: Introduction to Linguistics, English Phonology, Morphology and Syntax, and Discourse.
Literature: Drama, Prose and Poetry.

Elective Courses (MK) Electives: grouped into Business, Primary Level Education, Translation, and IT fields.

Lecture (MK) Lintas Prodi: MK Faculty of Communication: Photography, Graphic Design, Cinematography, Basics Public Relations*

HOW DO THE STUDY IN ENGLISH PSP ?!

PSP English is taken care of by professors who are qualified Professors (Professors), Doctorate (S-3), and Masters (S-2).

*Through cooperation with various schools, public and private, students can get an ideal place for a prospective Teacher Experience Program.

Conducive academic atmosphere enables students with optimal achievement and experience in conducting research with lecturer staff, attending lecturer and student seminars, tutoring other students, and being actively involved in Student Creativity Program activities.

Learning facilities are very helpful in quality and learning achievements such as with the laboratories below:*

Self-Study Learning Laboratory (Self Access Center)
Digital Language Laboratory
Multimedia Laboratory
Reading and Writing Laboratories
Micro Teaching Laboratory

The complete facilities are obtained from the Competition Grant I-MHERE (2006 - 2010) funded by Dikti.

Curricular Activities: Total Immersion Days (in Bali or Singapore), English Week, Cultural Events, Guest Lectures, and participation opportunities in regional and national competitions.
At the end of the study each graduate will receive a Certificate of Teaching Deed

Where is the English Language PSP graduate career?

English language PSP graduates have the ability to:

*Mastering English and able to teach it at elementary, junior and senior high school level
teaching English for Young Learners (Teaching English to Young Learners)
teaching non English subjects (eg Math, Science) in English (English Language Teaching across Curriculum)

making computer-based English teaching program (CALL)
in translation field to work as a translator or interpreter both written and oral.
managing English courses, and other business in education*.

In addition to a career in education to become a teacher, course owners, and managers in the field of education, graduates of English Education Studies Program with proficiency in English language also occupy a variety of other professions in the field of banking, export-import, tourism, translation, etc.
