Addiction is such a complex issue—it affects so much more than just the person using. My cousin went through it, and it really opened my eyes to how important compassion and understanding are. He found a lot of hope in addiction treatment services, which gave him structure and access to people who truly cared. I think it’s so important for communities to talk openly about addiction because it helps break down stigma. How do you all think we can better support those in recovery?
