Back in paleontology class we were asked to roam the beaches to look for different organisms, our group was tasked to look for starfishes or sea stars to examine. (another group was asked to collect sand though, not as exciting honestly)
That's when we found this guy, we didn't really try to identify its species because well we can't, we were clueless undergrads looking for starfishes. The class was focused on examining the parts of the organism they got. I've always asked myself how can these things move, I learned back in high school that they have tube feet but I have never really seen them until now. It looked super cool and cute but kinda freaky in a alien tentacle way but hey, nature is beautiful. I also took a video of it with its cute little tube feet wiggling, maybe it was saying hello.
