How to make children to love reading

I think the main challenge for parents and teachers is to keep nurturing kids enthusiasm for reading. So I listed some tips to help you with this fantastic task.

One of the things that I do is to try to get him to read whatever is available around us: publicity, letters on boxes, road information, leaflets and the last word of every single page of the storybook. But I mainly let him take the lead to avoid pushing him into reading. We do not want kids to end up hating books
I also noticed that beginning readers can get intimidated by text-heavy books and still prefer to go back to picture books with just a bit of reading.
For me, reading has more to do with fun, imagination, and fantasies rather than academic work, so do not let reading in the hand of the school only. Use this opportunity to teach them something that will stay with them forever and develop a strong bond with your little readers.
Of course, you have to show the example. Do never forget kids learn everything from what they see around them.
Let your kid pick up the book, Even if they choose most of the time the same book, the story is not really the point, but the reading itself.
Ask him or her to read for you. Although they might end up just making up stories, through the exercise they will pick up some new words.
And finally, pay attention to your child's interest. No none wants to read a book that has nothing to do with what you enjoy.
