Day 2 of this crazy adventure! I didn’t get as many pictures as I would have liked but these are few I got to squeeze in.
Tuesday’s we get to bake in the kitchen! We did our breakfast muffins and cupcakes. Then finished the night out with Jurassic Park, since me or the littles have never seen them. 🙈
I even managed to throw some chili in a crockpot between the crazy madness of baking!.
Any other moms or aunts have a tendency to let the littles help and cringe when they accidentally miss the bowl?. Or they go to pour something and over fill it or something?. Haha. My ocd tends to go in stress drive when it happens, I don’t mean by yelling and losing my marbles on the outside, just the whispering voice saying, “here let me help!” But I want them to learn so I have to tame the beast!. Plus I wouldn’t want to miss the smiles that come along when they’ve accomplished something on their own.. no matter how big the mess is. 🖤 I often remind myself “They’re only little once, someday you won’t have a mess to clean so you better take advantage of it now!”
Oh! One more thing.. this makes my heart swell just thinking about it. Little big man was able to read 95% of his devotional all by himself. 🤗 words he’s not use to seeing but he took time to sound them out and get it on his own. I know some may find it silly but it’s small victories like these that make me wanna scream with joy! 🖤
