Welcome to our very first post here on Steemit Education!
We firstly want to thank each and everyone, willing to support us in this new venture. Our main goal is to promote good quality educational content. We want to build a strong community for teachers on this platform, from all over the world. We want to create a place where we can all get together for support. We will share ideas, and resources, and in addition, help more students to achieve success.
As Steemit develops into a more advanced platform, the possibilities for this Educational community is endless. The ultimate idea would be to make THIS part of Steemit, a place where teachers could come to find educational resources to support their lessons. (Instead of searching the web, they would be able to find all they need right here on Steemit.)
Sadly... these are only ideas. We will really need all of your help and support, to make this successful, BUT we are determined and believe that this could work. We would really love it if you could drop by our chat-room in steemit chat with some of your ideas. You are also welcome to post your ideas in the comments below.

I am very eager to start "picking the brains" of the incredibly creative educators already here! This can be such a wonderful resource that will result in great things for our students!
In addition, I can only imagine how amazing this will be when our current members begin to bring in their talented colleagues.

Ooooo, I'm excited about this channel, though I am a bit late to the party here! I'm checking in on Steemit Chat to see what is going on in this forum. I'm super passionate about children and have written some posts about them, including my award winning post as Steemit Best Undiscovered Author at Steemfest. I had this idea but didn't dwell on it because I, for now, want to protect my privacy from the co-workers and kids (primary school). I teach English and maybe I'd share some of my materials if things start to roll. Thanks for the initiative.
