This is very true. When it comes to trust, we need to take many things into account. Values, visions, beliefs are the foundations of building trust. If we don't share those things, trust can easily fade.
Usually we tend to trust people based on their social status, and the effects of the relationship you have with them. We seem to forget other factors, making the trust won't last long. For example, doing business with best friends seems to be the best join venture of all, yet it is not always successful. Your best friend's aim is making money while yours is making impact to the society. So basically, it's just a matter of time that the trust will fade due to the 2 different goals. And when it happens, the friendship might be gone as well....
