What would a child you once were think about the person you have become?

So … The topic that is on my mind today is “Rewiring and resetting the brain”.
Is it really possible and also is it a good or a bad thing?
Most of us have things in their lives that they want to forget or erase,
But my question is: “Aren’t those the memories that shaped the course of our life?”
Do you think that the worst things that happened to us made us weaker or stronger?
Do you also believe that everything that happens is there to teach us something?
The good, the bad and the crazy?
Even though there were some painful times in my life that most people would like to forget, I think that those were the times that shaped me the most.
So what would be the purpose of rewiring?
In my opinion we should rewire our brains but not to forget or delete information from it, but rather to
use its full potential or to explore its possibilities.
There is a new research that shows that human brain is possible to work exactly as good as computer but the problem is the pace.
Even though it can collect the same amount of information it cannot process them in the same speed.
Knowing that, I am now even more convinced that we are underestimating our own possibilities.
Why do we do this?
Is it because we fear the unknown?
When I think about it, this is kind of stupid because the thing is, everything in our life was one unknown.
As kids we were eager to learn new stuff, we weren’t scared…
Maybe this is because as kids, we didn’t know fear.
No tree was too high, nothing was too loud, nothing was too late.
So why is it that now when we have more life experience we also have more fears?
Was that seriously the only thing we took from our experience … FEAR?
When did that switch in our brain break?
Do you also know that it is proven that as kids we have a lot of dreams of flying and as adults very little or none?
Why do you think that is?
If experience brings us fears and takes away good dreams and imagination then I am sorry but I don’t want it…

We were all in so much hurry to grow up not even knowing what to expect but we didn’t fear the unknown, we were eager to get there, to learn, to progress…
So what happened?
How did we become this “too old too soon” people.
Or this frightened kids trapped in bodies of grown ups?
How did we get to this point that most of our lives we wish to forget or runaway?
And why?
Can we all just take a moment and remember that kid we used to be?
Can we appreciate it?
Can we at least try to be the same again, for that kids sake?
Aren’t you sad that that kid would probably be really disappointed to the person we all have become?
I am.
When was the last time you did something for the first time?

If you are happy with your answer, keep doing whatever it is that you are doing.
If not…
Get up, change something, take a leap of faith and start doing stuff that you are afraid of.
If you don’t like where you at in your life… Move! Change … You are not a tree!
And whatever you do, do not disappoint yourself.
You can never recover from that.
