My weekend job - Guiding kids in building ROBOTS!

in education •  7 years ago  (edited)

Hola fellow steemians!

It's been awhile since i last posted as i've been quite busy for the past few days 😥

In today's post i would love to share about what i do every weekend. I am a "teacher" to students aged 4 - 16 years old where we encourage our students to become future innovators and engineers. Our students are engaged in STEM or Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths education by creating and constructing robots and subsequently programming their builds.

The courses are customized for each age gap, and classes are divided into 3 - Junior Engineers (Age 4 - 6), Senior Engineers (Age 7 - 12) and Master Engineers (Age 13 - 16). For the Junior Engineers, they will build their robots based on the stories that they have learned in class. They will also learn basic motor and sensor skills. For Senior Engineers, they are exposed to various electronic parts that are similarly used around us such as IR sensors, Touch sensors, LEDs and so on. For Master Engineers, the students can explore their robot control by enhancing their programming skills and are provided with advanced, more accurate sensors and faster motors to work with.
