Only in Tañong Malabon (Effigy Making for New Year)

For the preparation of the New Years Eve, mostly Tañong Residents is busy making their own effigy for the Yearly Tradition of the barangay, and the man behind this tradition is non other than the father of my only son, Mr. Ramon Igat started this tradition wayback 1980's, he made a scarecrow effigy. During New Years eve @12am they will put some fire crackers inside the effigy. Until now the residents of Tañong still practicing this Effigy Making Tradition and the brgy. officials even made an "EFFIGY MAKING CONTEST" yearly that's why this Tradition which my hubby started has become a Phenomenon in our barangay.20171229_180245.jpg
