If you want to know the history of Egypt and the splendor, rich treasure of 5000 years of ancient civilization, then you have to go to the National Museum of Egypt. The National Museum of Egypt is the place everybody goes to Egypt will visit. Located in the Egyptian capital near the Cairo Liberation Square, the Egyptian Museum is one of the world-famous large-scale museums with hundreds of thousands of artifacts hidden inside. The Egyptian Museum is a neoclassical brick red stone building, designed by the famous French archeologist Mariette, whom the Egyptians called the "father of the Egyptian Museum," it This ancient and luxurious double- storey buildings was designed in 1887 in Braque, northern Cairo, and completed in 1881. It’s exceptionally dazzling under the backdrop of blue sky. The main purpose of the construction of the museum at that time was to prevent the excavated Egyptian treasures from going abroad.
The design of the entrance to the museum portraits the characteristics of ancient Egyptian art: the outline of the gate is a circular arch, and one of the alcoves on each side of the arch has its own European-style relief. This is one of the finest artistic treasures in the world - the Egyptian gold mask, which was masked by the Egyptian pharaoh Tutankhamen in the 14th century BC and found in the tomb of Tutankhamen. When his mummy excavated, his head was covered with a gold mask that matched the face of a real man, just over his face. The mask is made of gold foil and embeds gems and stained glass. The forehead part decorated with Eagle God and the cobra God, symbol of upper and lower Egypt; the below is the beard, a symbol of god Osiris.
This is the perfume bottle of eighteenth dynasty of Egypt, Tutankhamen Dynasty (1333 BC - 1323 BC). It was made of alabaster, 70.5 cm high, 36 cm wide, 18.5 cm deep, and it was excavated in the tomb of King Tutankhamen Valley, found in the holy vessels protecting Pharaoh's coffin. The vessel was carved in lotus and papyrus motifs and the two plants were held in the hands of two men who were avatars of the Nile god. The two wore wig-like wedges of lotus and papyrus, plump, chest drooping and bulging belly, symbolizing the wealth and life brought by the irrigation of the Nile. The two Cobra towers above the lotus and papyrus wear the crown of upper Egypt and downer Egypt, respectively, also a symbol of unity and balance between North and South Egypt. The base of the bottle is engraved with two eagles and they are protecting the crown of Tutankhamen. The bottle is painted with Pharaoh's name, along with the name of his young wife, Ankhshenamun.
