Well. Its election day. Finally after what feels like an eternity we are finishing the chapter on what really must have been one of the most incredible election campaigns ever. It’s had it all! Sexism, Racism, Corruption, Paedophiles?!?, fraud, firebombing’s, death threats, the list goes on. The greatest nation in the world. The leaders of the free world. The land of the free. The home of the brave. What a sad spectacle it has been. But why has it come to this?
Now I need to caveat this by saying I live in the UK. I don’t have cable, or sky etc. If I watch television news then it is either the BBC or Channel 4 news. I get most of my news from reading online. If you have been following the BBC and C4 coverage then you will, like most of this country think that Donald Trump is the love child of Beelzebub and Margaret Thatcher and that Hillary Clinton is some almost saintly political equivalent of Emilia Earhart. The coverage has been simply disgusting. Particularly the C4 lot. A couple of their balls ups have been funny to watch though. I liked Matt Frei pretty much accusing a black reverend of being racist for supporting trump and Bruce Springsteen’s uncomfortable answer to the question “are you going to be playing for Hillary this time?” “er, no.” Hilarious.
Anyway, looking beyond the twisted liberal smokescreen which pervades public news broadcasting in the UK and you really do start to see just what a thoroughly unpleasant woman HRC really is. They talk about her being the most qualified person to be president ever. I think its more like the least suitable person to be president ever. The stink of corruption is rife. The emails, Benghazi, the Clinton Foundation. How is it possible that somebody with all of these skeletons (not even in the closet anymore, being spread all over the web) is even close to becoming the ‘leader of the free world’. Jail is where she should be going, and her pals for that matter. Particularly anybody into Spirit Cooking! Ok, that might not be illegal per se but WOW, wtf is wrong with these people.
The fact that she is so close to winning I believe what explains Donald Trump’s popularity. Surely the Republicans are kicking themselves that they couldn’t pull together to muster a more electable alterative to The Donald. Against her it’d be a landslide. Unfortunately they have Trump. The entire establishment in the western world has mobilised to defeat trump, including the vast majority of mainstream media. Against these odds he shouldn’t even be in the race let alone within the margin of error the day before election day. I accept he is no angel nor do I particularly like him but some of this stuff he has had levelled at him is just absurd. I mean even our own corrupt incompetent MPs debating in parliament whether or not to ban him from coming to the UK. What the hell. Staggering!
Is Trump going to do it? I suspect not, I suspect the establishment will get a return on the $550m plus they have spent to put HRC in the Whitehouse. But then the fireworks will really start. Is trump going to say fair enough, well done and then head off into the night. When its so clear it’s an establishment fixjob?
We shall see.
P.S. I have loaded up on physical #Gold and #Silver as I anticpate this is the start of the end for the current financial system. Bring on the #Blockchain
