Is collecting and counting ballots more difficult than running a vast health care system that involves pricing, insurance, medication, billing, and the very lives of individuals? The answer is no.Is collecting and counting ballots more difficult than attempting to manage the spread of an invisible virus without ruining the livelihoods, spirits, educations, and very lives of hundreds of millions of people? Again, the answer is no.

Government is not particularly adept at managing the vast majority of things. The latest election (and it's not as if it is the first time) and COVID-19 are just the latest examples. This has little to do with what party controls the presidency or congress. It has to do with the nature of government and bureaucracies in general. Keep these examples in mind if you support the government control of more aspects of our lives such as healthcare.
