The Curious Case of An Election In Afrcan

You would feel no tension, no worry about political fighting or killing, no threat of war, no pressure on the electoral commission, yet they went to the polls just like we did.

Nobody declared themselves in a comfortable lead before the commission, no one got independent counts verification. Ballot boxes did not go missing, and I didn't see a single policeman at the polling station.

I am not comparing economy or weather, I am comparing HUMAN for HUMAN!!!
You would ask yourself why, why is an election a matter of life or death, why should people hate each other over a difference of opinion, why, why, why?????

It's not a case of democracy being a foreign concept to us, it's a simple case of human behaviour. It's a study our universities should invest in, cos we need to understand how humans, civilised people in most cases become animals over elections.

In all cases where there elections on the African continent we somehow had to start prayers d
For them and also deploy Ecowas observer groups.
In few months an
election will be ongoing in a country near you, another time to hold ourselves in fear of what might excalate should a party or its leader decides to disagree with a constitutionally mandated body of an electoral commission.
