Last night I could not catch all of the debate as I was putting my kids to bed.
Vance definately handled himself better than Trump which shows the folly of Trump just debating off the cuff and not doing his homework. But his unwillingness to acknowledge that Trump lost the election just shows the poison of Trump.
Vance would not be able to be the VP candidate if he did not uphold the fiction of the stolen election, Look. I think the Republicans would be on solid ground to complain about media bias and an unfair election but not acknowledging that Trump lost is the stuff of fantasy.
From what I saw Vance won the debate (not that VP debates really matter) except for his failure to acknowledge the obvious. And until Trump leaves political life the lie of "stop the steal" will be a part of the Republican party and corrupt the spirit of that party.
