It's day 2 of general Election 2019 in Nigeria. Two weeks back, Presidential and federal lawmakers poll was held with the incumbent President Mohamadu Buhari of All Progressives Congress(APC) winning the top job of the land.
However,I just got back from my polling unit where I voted and in less than five minutes I was done with my voting. From my Observation, today's election was far more better organised and it was all done in a peaceful atmosphere, I also noticed electorate came out to exercise their civic responsibility without stress. Some of them waited to get the polling result while other left immediately they cast their vote. With this development, Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) umpire for this election deserves great kudos.
Inaddition,I anticipate that it is also a peaceful scenario in other polling units around the country.
While the electorate wait for the final results for who is going to be their governor and state legislators in the next fours years, the people's vote should count just as INEC has promised and peaceful voting exercise
Final Thought
All aspirants you clearly know that in every election there is a winner and also a loser. If you didn't win the seat in this election, then aspire in the next election, and learn to concede.if you feel you were robbed off the election, kindly take your case to proper legal process as stipulated by the law. Don't incite violence let famous quote of Former President Goodluck Jonathan be your stand point
My ambition is not worth the blood of any Nigeria
And for the winners ,know that you didn't get the office by your own power, the people voted you in,so give them the best service and listen to them.
