Draining the swamp - Cards Against AnarchysteemCreated with Sketch.

Watching the United States presidential election "while anarchist," I focused mainly on various ballot initiatives, in particular marijuana "legalization." You will see that in some states the campaign slogans for "legalization" of marijuana are something along the lines of, "regulate marijuana like alcohol." The problem I see with that slogan is two-fold: we shouldn't be asking anyone permission what to do with our bodies and, whatever your opinion of the former, marjiuana is not being regulated like alcohol simply because it is being taxed, for the simple reason that there are no limits to how much alcohol you can buy, take across state borders, or keep in your car. Simple fact. In fact, right now, they are talking exactly about this on Free Talk Live, which I am listening to as I type this (2:15 AM Saturday, November 26, 2016 Coordinated Universal Time (UTC)). Maybe more on that and how they almost banned kratom, piquing my interest in the plant, later.

At the time, that Tuesday, I was aware that Clinton and Trump were polling pretty close together, not even taking into account the role that the electoral college would play. So I had a hard time keeping a straight face when people around me had a meltdown when Trump won. I'm like... I'm glad my head is where it is right now. Meanwhile, there were others who were being glee about the master they had voted for got to take a turn bending them over. I'm going to have the last laugh, unfortunately.

While Hilary is a hawk (hopefully both her wings are limp now) and literally hacked at her main opponent Sanders, whatever your convictions are, that speaks volumes about her character, and I am appalled at how everyone overlooked that.
If for some reason Hilary were to come over one day and say she had become an anarchist, I'm not going to have any dealings with her for five miles. Same with Trump. Both characters are awful. Trump on the other hand has been marrying a clown train with corporatists and hawks. Draining the swamp, my anarchist arse. Of course, his supporters will be in denial and just mutter, "But he's going to make America great again ooh ooh eeh eeh"...

If you are disillusioned by the political process and the administration and the state, wherever in the world you are, consider anarchism. There are various flavours to explore, or simply make your own. Anarchism is your oyster. Do not make excuses for your democracy, or republic, for that matter. Plato was a statist, and you may want to apply his principles to a community about the size of Dunbar's number, to the extent that it has any cohesion, but he was right in saying that democracy was the worst form of government, even if he said it for slightly different reasons, in the sense that, if my memory serves, it was giving the sheeple the ability to impose power over everyone else, including those who were, through their heart and mind, in a better position to run the show.

Whatever your struggles with the concept of anarchism and the world events now, just remember that there was anarchy in the beginning, until we domesticated our fellow human beings. Here I will mention "Engines of Domination" and the video link is below.

So how about we just keep things simple? In the words below,

Vote for Nobody.
Nobody will keep election promises.
Nobody will listen to your concerns.
Nobody will help the poor and unemployed.
Nobody cares!
If Nobody is elected, things will be better for everyone.
Nobody tells the truth.

And, more importantly, have expectations of nobody, and hence be spared disappointments.

All these cards up to this point are going to be interesting when mixed altogether.

Love and laughs,

the only difficult part of this is the amount of self defense that is required. it is still the only reasonable option.

Self-defense from whom/what?

the delusional statists, of course.
