Hello friends! I'm @moazzamushtaq from #pakistan and I warmly welcome all of you to my post. I hope that you all will be fine and will be enjoying your lives. Today I'm going to participate in the final week of electric learning course from SLC-S22/W6. The topic is "Creating an Electrical Series Board". The teacher of this course is sir @mahadisalim from bangladesh. Let's start the topic;
A. Make a series board and share the technique of making it in at least five steps with drawings.[Note: Practical work is to be shared with your photos.] |

I am going to make a series board and will show you the making process step by step practically in pictures and drawings. Below is the method of making series board.
Material Required:
The required material for making a series board is given below in the table.

Electrical wire (red,black) | 2 feet each |
I have shared all required material in above picture. I have to use some electric tools for making electric board like tester. Now start the process.
● Step 1:
First I took a switch board and fixed other thing for making it proper. I fixed a button, a light holder and a two pin socket in board.
● Step 2:
In 2nd step I took a copper wire and connect the button, socket and holder with each other in a series.
● Step 3:
In this step I have connected a black wire as a neutral current. See in below pictures that socket, button and holder are connected with red wire for phase current and with black wire for neutral current.
● Step 4:
In 4th after connecting socket, holder and button through wire in series. Connection is completed and now I closed the board and tight its screws.
● Step 5:
In the final step I put the bulb in holder and check either it lit or not by supplying the current. Below are results.

Below are two drawings, one is of the simple series connection and 2nd of the series board connection which I have made.
so in these simple steps I have made the series board, you can see the positive results in above pictures.
B. Check with two electrical or electronic device series boards and show results. |

Now I will check two electrical devices with my series board. I have used one SMD light of 8 watt and electric oven.
● First I connected SMD light with my series board. First after connecting when button (switch) is off the light did not lit but when I on the button the SMD light lit. The light is of 8 watts and board is supplied with power supply as normal used in homes. So after connection it lit easily.
● Second electrical device which I checked is electronic oven. As series connection commonly use to check the any fault in electronic devices. When I plugged in the switch of oven in socket, the oven did not start even the button was on. Only the bulb was lit slightly which means that all conections in oven are ok.
C. Check with a short piece of cable in a series board and show the result. |

Now I am going to check my newly made series board with a piece of wire. For checking I took a small piece of wire. After removing insolation from both sides of this small piece, i put it in socket and bulb lit on.
Purpose of checking:
I think it is checked for examining series connection. When I put the wire in the socket directly the bulb began to lit which shows that board is made in a series connection.
