This won't be my first pedal build, but it will be the first time I've built from a kit. I don't even usually use pre-made PCB's, but I decided to spoil myself a bit this time. The place that sells the PCB by itself was sold out, so I went for the kit from a different place (links to both below). I even decided to spoil myself further by including a powder-coated and pre-drilled enclosure, in part because painting outside isn't an option here in the winter.
The circuit is a sort of copy of the preamp from a Sunn Model T guitar amp, but using JFETs instead of tubes. I don't expect it to be the same, but having heard demos, I think it'll be enough to make me happy... especially since I don't see myself having the money to drop on the real thing anytime soon.
I will, of course, post again when I get to the actual build.
