Sharp is introduced the new iPhone

Or at least something very similar and the Auqos S2 have all the chances to become one of the most popular smartphones of the year.

This can cause some kind of surprise to those people who didn't even know that Sharp is manufacturing smarphones but as you can see they are not just manufacturing smartphones but they are keeping their fingers on the event's essence. The Aquos S2 have everything that a modern smartphone needs in 2017, such as:

Huge, so-called "frameless" screen with a resolution of 2040x1080 pixels, only the camera is interrupting in the center similarly to the soon arriving iPhone 8 and the Essential Phone,
Dual camera (in vertical position similarly to iPhone 8),
Powerful performance, the phone will come with 4 and 6 GB RAM.

The Aquos S2 will become really popular not because these but because with the Snapdragon 630 and Snapdragon 660 CPUs, the phone is like to aim not at the high-end category but rather the medium category. This is show on it's price too because the phone in China (unfortunately the phone will only be available here for the time being) costs no more than $373 USD.

In this category, only the LG has a similar, frameless phone for the time being. According to me, Sharp will miss a big opportunity/chance if they don't start selling the phone internationally, but they know.
