Through the Woods, 2018.

The process of drawing.

The drawing was done from the derivation from the word 'train' where i immediately imagined this view; a train coming through a scenic scene of the nature involving trees, mountains, rivers and trees.

Heres a timelapse of the drawing done in Procreate on an iPadpro.

I always love a long train ride. In fact, train is my favourite mode of transportation. Ive actually shared how much i would love to actually work in a train as my office instead of in a building. You can have a read in this link here;

The best part of it is always the view. Theres always so much things to see especially when you get on the inter-state trains. For me, staring out the window commuting from one location to the other somehow portrays timelines of changes and also it shows the best part of a place.

Ive even once booked a train from Manchester to Scotland for a 6 hours ride and immediately took another train back, just so that i could spend a time to write my thesis paper when i was doing my Masters degree. Unlike on a bus or a car, i cant seems to read as my head will feels dizzy if i did so but not on trains.

J.K. Rowling first had the idea for Harry Potter while delayed on a train travelling from Manchester to London King’s Cross in 1990. - source

Theres so many great things can happen in a train. Recently i've watched several movies that took place only in trains from the start till it ends.

One of them is The Commuter (2018) starred by Liam Neeson.

Its like watching the 'Taken' series but happens solely on a train. lol. A story about solving a mystery that threatening his family.

Another movie was the Snowpiercer (2013).

Humankind last survival lives on a perpetual train that could run forever and self-sustaining as living static on earth during that time would freeze you to death because of the apocalypse. The train even have social divisions, growing foods, entertainment etc where basically symbolise life.

This is my first try posting through #elegance. It seems quite easy and user friendly to use. The best feature for me is the draft saving feature that i find really handy. I also love how it looks like on the Elegance page.
