Elementary school system

Elementary school system or education in Pakistan begin from grade 6 and end with grade 8. Means three year program that include grade6 (6th class), grade7 (7th class) and grade8 (8th class). Before move to next level student have to pass these grades. Secondary school is usually single-sex-education, but in urban cities co-education will follow at this level.
General subjects of elementary schools are as follow:

1. Arts
2. Mathematics
3. General science
4. Computer science and ICT
5. Literature (Urdu, English)
6. Social study
7. Islamic study
8. Agriculture or Zari education

Drama studies, music and physical education are also offered by Elementary schools. Home economics is also offering by Elementary schools that is actually for female students, whereas topics related to astronomy, environmental management and psychology are frequently included in the textbooks of general science. Sometimes archaeology and anthropology are extensively taught in textbooks of social studies. Zari education is actually for male students, where they learn about agriculture, like rice, sugar can and wheat etc. Provincial and regional languages will follow in these stages like, Punjabi, Pashto and Sindhi.
Turkish, Arabic, Persian, French and Chinese also the part of Elementary schools, because Pakistan has a good relation with these country that follow such types of languages.
Elementary school education is middle of primary and secondary education. Another words you can say bridge from primary to secondary education. So that’s why some times it’s called middle school system.
