So, the eighth Hermetic principle, usually left out of traditional set of seven, is called the Generative principle, states that everything originates anď returns to the Source. Just wanted to throw that in sonce for whatever reason it is being censored and I suspect that it is the G in the Masonic logo of compass (feminine) and angle square (masculine).
The last 12th principle in this version is that of Gender, states that ALL in existence are both feminine and masculine, nothing can exist as one without the other, as in left and right side of one whole being.
Hence why the first Creation of Adam Kadmon, original mankind, is described as being both male and female, androgynous, in the image of the Creator who is both feminine and masculine, the primordial androgeny. Most ancient traditions have reflected that view, which is only natural conclusion of logic.
Since both opposites are united as one inseparable dichotomy, which is yet another Hermetic principle of Opposites, as in hot and cold are the opposites of the same reference to the temperature, warm being the middle. And being in the middle or centre is good place to manifest and experience the Creation.
