Ellen Degeneres is getting cancelled for not being nice enough, she is not the same Ellen behind the scenes as the one on TV.
People are surprised it's an act. It's a performance, it's entertainment.
Her staff comes of as entititled.
Ellen ignores us, Ellen lives in a bubble, she isn't nice to us, her producers are mean, she doesn't care, Why wont she tell them of,why wont Ellen be our friend etc...

I dislike the show and her, but this is getting ridiculus.

You want her act the same of camera as on camera. Like a circus monkey.
The staff probably thougt "working at the Ellen show meant Ellen would be our friend"
She is clearly an introvert, and as one I get her isolationg herself.
Doing a show like that would drain you, And if you could deligate other duties you would.
Her job his hosting the show, she doesn't need to waste energy supervising everything else, they make enough many to hire someone else to do that.
Well it's an interesting situation. It fits my stereotype for those people, lets see how it turns out.
