For those unaware, if one country (in this case Germany) is a co-developer of arms with another nation and Germany imposes an embargo against another country (in this case Saudi Arabia), every other nation who was a co-developer of thus weaponry with Germany, is not allowed to sell the weapons to Saudi Arabia as well, even though they themselves may not have such embargo against that nation.
Germany chose to block arms sales to Saudi Arabia due to the horrific war against Yemen

With Brexit looming and France falling apart under Macron, England & France need every bit of income they can get their hands on.
Germany on the other hand, can basically AFFORD to condemn Saudi atrocities. Yes that's right, Capitalism requests you to be able to afford doing the right thing.
This reminds me of an old saying that went something like; ''you have to have more strength, than the rights you are entitled to''.
Meaning that if you as a especially a nation or even individual, do not have an equal or more amount of strength in comparison to what you are entitled to, your rights can and will be taken away from you.
