My recent shocking situation was about train ticket. I made a reservation at 7:00 pm at Seoul station to depart to Busan direction. I arrived at the Seoul station at 6:24 PM. I thought I could wait for 7 PM train since I already purchased. Of course I bought my ticket online and have a membership for the railroad system. I waited in line for the counter so that I could change my ticket for me to leave earlier than 7 PM. At 6:26 PM automatically message appeared on my phone saying that I arrived earlier than 7 PM and asked me whether I would like to leave on 6:45 PM train. I pressed "YES" button. Then new ticket appeared for 6:45 PM train. It was so quick to do this ticket change. However I DIDN'T REQUEST IT. MY PHONE DID NOTICE THAT I HAVE TO WAIT FOR MORE THAN 30 MIN TO WAIT at the station so that the phone made the new option. I could run down to take 6:30 PM train but safely I was asked to take 6:45 PM train. After I took the train, I thought about how this society has been changed. I am being monitored by the system I use. The smart phone is indeed a smart phone without privacy. But it gives a lot of positive things. This phone just Note 5 is alive with me breathing next to me watching what I am doing. Helping me. So. I would like to share my story what kind of society we live in. Of course, I will enjoy the IT system and be a part of even much more advanced technology of our society.
