End of the world

Have you ever thought about the end of the world?

(I did not know with what photos to illustrate this post, so I chose a 'symbolic image', as written on food packaging for some time.)

To be honest, to me today is like that. It is like a prelude, a beginning, an entry to the end. Of everything.

Two years ago, humanity stepped on a sloping plane and began to move quickly on it. On a sloping and slippery surface. The further you go, the faster the speed of movement and the faster and closer the end begins to be seen.

I do not know if the people in the early 20th century affected by the so-called Spanish flu felt that way. I don't know and I can't know if they thought the end of the world was coming.

But there are many factors that have accumulated over these two years. And other factors from before followed.

You know these end-of-the-world movies. Oh, people love to have fun with them, to play with the idea that the world is over. And usually someone comes, the great hero, who is saved or saves another person, the last survivor or the last survivors.
Then the movie ends. With a happy ending. It leaves viewers only to guess how the only survivors then continued to live happily on the ruined Earth.

These movies became a box office hit. They gather thousands and millions of spectators in cinemas, who are happy to watch the destruction of the Earth and then the appearance of the hero. Then they leave the cinemas, go home and go on with their lives as if they have never seen anything. Or reassured after seeing someone save the Earth or how someone is saved.
However, no one realizes that there are heroes only in the movies. And if the end of the world comes, there will be no one who will want to help or save anyone.

You can see for yourself how purposefully people are opposed to each other in the moment. How aggression and intolerance are artificially encouraged.
How you can not even say what you think, because you will be banned by a certain network, platform, group or community.
Do you think that someone will help and save exactly you? And what makes you think you are even supposed to be saved?
