The Muses were born in 1997 in Teignmouth in Devon, England.

Formation

Matthew Bellamy vocals, guitar and keyboards
Chris Wolstenholme bass, vocals, harmonica
Dominic Howard percussion

Immediately became evident thanks to their sound and their strong personality that is accentuated in their concerts.
Of the modern bands surely along with Coldplay and Radiohead are among the most innovative, their genre is often associated with alternative rock to Tecno Pop in many tracks you can also see the influences of Rock Progressive.
Very technical and professional have known throughout their record career to propose, change and most importantly experiment, certainly this experience them is the source of success.

Discography

Showbiz

Their first album was released in 1999 and is titled Showbiz, immediately attracting the curiosity of critics and the international press because of the originality of the group and the attempt to try new musical paths.

Origin Of Symmetry

Two years later, in 2001, they released their second album, Origin of Symmetry, an album much more "rough" than the previous one but obviously one of their most beautiful, at least in my opinion.
Excellent tracks Space Dementia and New Born in my opinion the most beautiful song of the whole album.

Absolution

In 2003 the third album Absolution is published, which is nothing more than the continuation of the musical strand undertaken with Origin of Symmetry also here it shows an experimental rock but very hard and impact.

Black Holes and Revolution

In 2006 he released Black Holes and Revolution where the Muse abandon the harsh sound of the two previous works and introduce a more classic style and much more influenced by prog rock.
Among the best tracks I mention Map Of The Problematique and the fantastic Knights Of Cydonia, a song worthy of being among the most successful of the band, from the beginning until the end of the song we can rock from the 60s to progressive to techno pop , making us remember AC / DC, Genesis, Yes, Deep Purple and Queen, in short a tribute to the past history of rock and with a wonderful projection towards the new musical future of the Muse.o single.

The Resistance

The Resistance dated 2009 the album continues on the classic and rich in symphonic melodies that accompany the traditional instrumentation used by the group, the song that then gives the title to the album was among the best sellers leaping on top of all the world hits and consecrating the group among the most popular in the rock scene.

The 2nd Law

In my opinion the best Disco dei muse released in 2012 The 2nd Law is a wonderful symphonic opera, this album is to listen to the first track, "Survival" "The 2nd Law" "Panic Station", "Supremacy" But also Madness and Follow Me which are hit and radio tracks.

Drones

2015 is the year of Drones the rock of the beginning, of the experiments that have distinguished the group.
Aftermath as a song emerges on all those proving once again that the Muse are among the modern bands able really to change the rock music to experiment new paths, other impact songs are Mercy where the use of keyboards and very marked and The Handler here the influences of the Queen are well evident but of great effect.
