Turn off that engine light anytime you want for less than $10!

Do you have $10 bucks?
Do you have a phone with Bluetooth or WIFI?

Then All you need is a OBD 2 scanner for around $7.50

First you will need to get a OBD II reader from amazon. See below for the exact one I bought and no I am unfortunately not getting paid to promote their product. I am giving you this link because most of them are from china and that could take weeks to ship, so no matter who you buy it from make sure they are located in the USA or local to where you are.

While that is coming in the mail you will also need to go over to the Play Store (android) and get an app for your phone that can communicate with the OBD 2 device.
Apple users please search your store for an app that will support a ELM32 OBD2 scanner. I do not have any apple devices, so this is mostly for Android users.

I tried the free version first and then went and bought the paid version for $5 bucks, because I needed more functionality. If you are only interested in reading your codes and reseting your light, then the free version will be all you need. I will include these links to the Torque app below also.

Please Note: Apple users will most likely have to use the WIFI versions of the OBD 2 device and I believe there are a couple apps in the apple store that can utilize them, but do make sure before you buy. I only have Android devices, so I cannot comment a lot for Apple users, sorry.
