We come across about the trolls and prejudices made upon an engineer. Especially when we talk of Indian engineers. Not only this we also know about the hard work and long journey of of an engineer to clear all 4 years of his/her course (without any backlog).
Well am at that stage of engineering which is very crucial for any of us pursuing the course , i.e.
The eighth semester . Yes am talking of 3 and a half engineer. At this time there may be 3 conditions:
You have got a trainee post in a campus recruitment.
You have made to your mind to drop for a year.
You have exactly no idea whats coming next.
Well 1st two conditions are quite embraceful and soothing. But but the third one …. tsk… tsk… tsk.. .
Now if you are stuck at 3rd and have really no clue what you are going to confront next then you will love reading further.
Let me classify the 3rd condition in further few more sub-types.
You are a core branch student
You were preparing for GATE/CAT.
Now you are thinking ‘ thats not the cup of mine’
Dear reader if you really are in the place which I mentioned then welcome to the club 3 AND A HALF ENGINEER. But if you are not then put on your earphones and listen to MOCKINGBIRD.

How I know these ??? Well tell you what, am the CEO of this 3 and a half engineer club.
Member of this club have set themselves free, walking with the wind . But you must gain weight to circumvent the effect of fast blowing wind of cobwebs.
Tell you one of the greatest plus point about your condition
You have thousands of options in front of you.
Yes thats true and there you are having an upper hand than type1 and type2 condition.
So get on your toes. You have no
chains in your ankle. You aren’t the victim of software trainee with 3.25 lac package. Explore yourself , find the one missing in you and start surfing the world.
This not as nasty as you think , its lovable , enjoyable ……
Well am not asking you to just start shooting for brownie points but yes at least get warmed up and see what you find the best to deal with . Dont prepare yourself according to the vacancies shown in shine.com or naukri.com , instead take the job suitable to your interest.
