Calculation #1 (labor and material needs) 🏠

in engineering •  7 years ago  (edited)
Greetings, how are you steemit friends? Glad to see you again and hopefully keep the spirit. Today I will discuss about the application of the labor and material needs I have previously discussed and I will exemplify to the building we are planning.

In the previous discussion we have discussed about the needs of labor and materials on the work of excavation, backfill, foundation, walls, reinforced concrete work and other work.

In accordance with the picture below then we will calculate the needs of labor and materials needed.

The work we will count is

  • Soil excavation work [1] [2]

The form of excavation is carried out in accordance with the one shown in the drawing, If at the place of excavation found pipe disposal or wires that are still working then you should immediately notify the authorized agency to get further instructions.

  • Backfill work [2]

Backfill work is done with upcoming ground, backfill done several layers, then each layer is compacted with compactor and others, to produce maximum density and no decrease of floor.

Backfill work under the floor is done after excavation work foundation soil is completed

'- Stone pairs [3]

Stone used comes from rivers or mountains with shapes and sizes corresponding to the cross section to be worked on, the stone must be clean of mud and other organic substances that can damage the structure.

  • Mountain rock foundation [3]

Mountain rock used in this work must be really hard, strong, clean, free of cracks and should come from reliable sources of retrieval. Prior to installation, the stone must be moistened with water between three and four hours before use in such a way that each stone is fully exposed to water.

  • Reinforced concrete work [4]

Slab dim. 15/20 cm
The reinforced steel that has been produced must match the drawing of the plan.
Installation of previously manufactured formwork must be appropriate to the size of the slab and the side-support pair as a binder. Installation should be straight and strong so as not to melt at the time of casting. The casting in accordance with the proportion of the mixture.

Column (Practical column) dim. 13x13 cm [5]

The making of marks on the basis should be precise on the axles specified in accordance with the plan.
The reinforcement and brace columns must match the image. Installation of special formwork on double-sided practical columns (formerly formwork oiled) and reinforced with reinforcing wood on column sides.

  • Wall work [6]

Bricks are soaked for a few minutes in water to prevent the cement from being absorbed by the bricks so that the adhesion will decrease.
Preparing the mounting position on the column to position the masonry correctly and in accordance with the drawing plan.

  • And Plastering [7]

QUESTION

In accordance with the picture above, how much labor and materials needed to complete the works?

thank you my brother has given a very good knowledge and hard to get.
by calculating work materials and labor,
whether we also need to calculate the target how many days are ready to be done ? @ kharrazi

yes, we also have to calculate the day needed in work, because in addition to time cost becomes the determinant of work success.
thank you for stopping @fulsketch :)

thank you brother for sharing your experience
hopefully can be useful for me :)
