Rock foundations are usually used in simple buildings such as single-storey houses and so on, the use of this foundation is considered cheaper than other types of foundations, and the ease with which materials are required, but also depends on the strength of the soil.
The initial work that we do is excavation of the ground as the foundation place is put, after the excavation work is completed then the work of the mountain stone foundation pairs can be done.
The equipment required on the excavation work is shovel and hoe, at this stage of work excavation will be done in accordance with the plan.
We will follow the image below either in the excavation, the width of excavation and the length of the excavation to fit the plan that we will do.
If the total length of the excavation is 8.00 m, the width of the excavation is 0.60 m and in the excavation is 0.70 m then the total excavated volume to be dug is 2.88 M3, the question is how much power is required in this work process?
I will outline the answer in accordance with the Indonesian National Standard:
At a simple job as deep as a maximum of 1 meter the required energy is, foreman and workers / laborers.
The coefficient of 1 M3 of excavation is:
0.75 Person per Day (Workers)
0.25 Person per Day (Overseer)
Answer:
Volume x coefficient = volume required
2.88 x 0.75 = 2.16 Person per Day (Workers)
2.88 x 0.025 = 0.072 Person per Day (Overseer)
So if we round out the answer is:
To complete the work with a volume of 2.88 M3 required 2.00 workers and 1.00 foreman, the price of wages of workers and foremen per day certainly we can estimate after we take into account the needs of the workforce.
If we have the form of a continuous foundation / stone times as shown below then how many workers need construction workers and how much material is needed
Given the size of the mountain rock foundation is:
Top field = 0.25 m
Bottom field = 0.60 m
Height = 0.70 m
Length = 8.00 m
Then the total volume of the foundation is (((top width + bottom width) / 2) x 0.700 x 8,000 = 2,380 M3
In accordance with the Indonesian National Standard on the work of pindasi stone with a mixture of 1 portland cement: 4 sand is.
- 1,500 Person per Day (Workers)
- 0.750 Person per Day (Stonemason)
- 0.0750 Person per Day (Foreman)
- 0.0750 Person per Day (Overseer)
- 1,200 M3 Stone Mountain
- 163,000 Kg Portland Cement
- 0.520 M3 Sand pairs
Answer:
Volume x coefficient = volume required
2,280 x 1,500 = 3,570 Person per Day (Workers)
2,280 x 0.750 = 1,785 Person per Day (Stonemason)
2,280 x 0.075 = 0.1785 Person per Day (Foreman)
2,280 x 0.075 = 0.1785 Person per Day (Overseer)
2,280 x 1,200 = 2,856 M3 Stone Mountain
2,280 x 163,000 = 387,940 Kg Portland Cement
2,280 x 0,520 = 1,2376 M3 Sand pair
So if we round out the answer is:
To complete the foundation work with a volume of 2,380 M3 it takes 4,00 workers, 2,00 stonemason and 1.00 Foreman as well as Overseer, while the required building materials is 3,00 M3 Stone Mountain, 389,00 Kg Portland Cement and 1.50 M3 Sand pair.
If all the needs of labor and building materials have been known then the next stage is to determine the price of each item.
The need for manpower and building materials to complete the excavation work with a volume of 2,880 M3 and a mountain rock foundation with a volume of 2,380 M3 is :
Items | Volume requirement |
---|---|
Worker | 6.00 Person |
Stonemason | 2,00 Person |
Foreman or Overseer | 1 Person |
Stone Mountain | 3 M3 |
Portland Cement | 389.00 Kg |
Sand pair | 1.50 M3 |
In this calculation I only put on the foundation work, hopefully with this paper can help the young engineers in understanding the volume of needs in other areas of work.
This is all I can write now, for all the errors of writing and as a servant of God I apologize.
