Enjoying My Side Trip to Sheffield, England

London can be quite a hectic and crowded city that at times, I want to escape to other towns outside of the city.

One of those places is Sheffield, which is a town in the middle of the UK just to the east of the larger city of Manchester.

Easiest way to get to Sheffield is by the many trains that East Midland Trains operates from St. Pancras station in London. Fares usually go from as cheap as 20 GBP to 50 GBP each way.

Once I got to Sheffield, I met up with my surfer friend and we enjoyed the sunny and hot day through the town of Sheffield.

Then I walked around some of the local ponds and lakes that were in the area of Sheffield. With the lack of rain in the month of June, the ponds were all low in level.

And then lastly, I suggested some drunk bowling for the evening for some fun.

Where else should I check out in UK?

Have you ever been up to Scotland? We went during fall and with the orange leafs it was one of the most beautiful scenes I've seen!

Yes, I've been to Scotland once ... more so stayed in Edinburgh. Would totally return there since I loved it there. Any suggestions from you on Scotland @traveleranna?

Oh, I'm the wrong person to ask for advice, it was 11 years ago! Haha! What I loved about that trip was driving through northern Scotland admiring the beautiful lakes and the hills.

Wow enjoy the travel. I love London, I believe one day will be there.
